How do I enable push notifications and biometrics to use enhanced payments by SinglePoint®?

To use enhanced payments by SinglePoint®, you have to enable push notifications on your mobile device and enable biometrics in the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
Note: The options to manage your biometrics and push notifications are only available on the U.S. Bank Mobile App. These options are not available on our full website.

Push notifications are pop-up messages that notify you of activity through a mobile app, even if the app isn’t open. These notices typically appear on a lock screen and/or the top of the screen on a mobile device.

There’s not a specific push notification to enable in the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Instead, go to the “Settings” on your device and enable push notifications for the mobile app there. If your device notifications aren’t on and you try to enable notifications on U.S. Bank Mobile App, you’ll be redirected to turn on device notifications.

Biometrics use your fingerprint or face for identification. These are your unique physical characteristics used for automated recognition for unlocking a device, logging into apps, and using some digital services. They’re also known as Touch/Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint/face scan (Android).

To enable your biometrics, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
  2. From your dashboard, open the main menu in the upper left corner of the screen, then choose the gear icon.
  3. Choose Login preferences, then select the toggle switch next to Enable your biometric, to turn it on or off.
  4. Log out of the mobile app, then log back in to finish enabling your biometrics.

More information

When you’ve enabled your biometrics, you can log into the U.S. Bank Mobile App in one easy step. It's convenient, simple, and secure. Even when biometrics are enabled, you can log in with your username and password anytime you’d like.

On the mobile app log in screen, there is a “Remember me” toggle switch. When turned on, it helps retain your log in credentials on the mobile device, making future log ins simpler. If "Remember me" is turned off, biometrics are disabled, and you'll need to enable it again to continue using this service.
