How do I enable or disable my biometrics when I log in?

Biometrics are your unique physical characteristics used for automated recognition. They’re also known as Touch/Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint/face scan (Android). When you’ve enabled your biometrics, you can log into the U.S. Bank Mobile App in one easy step. It's convenient, simple, and secure.

To turn your biometrics on or off using the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. Open the main menu in the upper left corner of the screen, then choose the gear icon.
  2. Choose Login preferences, then select the toggle switch next to Enable your biometric, to turn it on or off.

That's it, you're done! The next time you can use your biometrics to log in.

More information

If "Remember me" is turned off, biometrics are disabled. You'll need to enable it again to continue using it. Even when biometrics are enabled, you can log in with your username and password.

The option to manage your biometrics is only available on the U.S. Bank Mobile App. This option is not available on our full website usbank.com.
