How to find your routing number

There are multiple ways.

There are two ways to find your routing number in the U.S. Bank Mobile App.

The easiest way is to open the app and select U.S. Bank Smart Assistant™. Then say, “What’s the routing number for my checking account?”

You can also find it by following these directions:

  1. Log into your account and select the desired account.
  2. Select the Account options link (below the available balance).
  3. Select Account information.
  4. You’ll see the last four digits of your account number which links to the full account number and the routing number.

Find your routing number via online banking by logging into online banking and selecting the applicable account. You’ll see in the top box the account nickname, the last four digits of your account number and the routing number. If you also need the full account number, just select the last four digits link.

Your routing number is in the upper right corner of your monthly statement. You can make sure your monthly statement is always at your fingertips with e-statements.

The routing number is the nine-digit number printed in the bottom left corner of each check. Your specific account number (usually 10 to 12 digits) is the second set of numbers printed on the bottom of your checks. The number furthest to the right is the check number.

How to fill out a check:

Not Sure how to write a check? You’re not alone. Here’s how:

  1. Date the check on the line at the top right corner.
  2. Fill in the name of the person or institution the check is for on the Pay to the order of line.
  3. Fill in the dollar amount in numbers in the box next to the Pay to the order of line.
  4. Fill in the dollar amount in words in the next line. Cents should be written out by putting the cents over 100 as a fraction. For example, $10.25 should be spelled out, “Ten dollars and 25/100”.
  5. If you’d like, you can add a memo.
  6. Sign your full name on the line on the bottom right.
